PLANTERS SUPER BOWL LIII SPOT (2019)
During Super Bowl Sunday, the biggest snacking day of the year, the goal was to show how Mr. Peanut is always there when you need him with the ideal snack.
I developed the creative concept and wrote the script for the brand’s first ever Super Bowl Spot, which featured Mr. Peanut in his NUTmobile going to great lengths to help someone during Crunch Time (the moment you need him most). In the spot, Mr. Peanut saves Alex Rodriguez (A-Rod) from the tragedy of eating nasty kale chips at a Super Bowl watch party, with Charlie Sheen, a very nutty guy, making a cameo.

During the game, we had a robust Twitter content plan taking place. From sweepstakes (#CrunchTimeGiveaway), to real-time Motion Capture animations of Mr. Peanut dancing, reacting to other ads, and to the game itself. We took over Twitter and won the #MVP award in Twitter’s #BrandBowl53. Planters had the highest percentage of all brand related tweets during the game, reaching more than 4 Billion impressions.
